Thunk (a dev agency I enjoy collaborating with as a product designer) went through a recent rebrand and asked me if I would redesign their website to support this new phase of the company. Designer Lindsey Evans put together a super fresh new logo and brand direction, and I was thrilled to get to work with these new assets.
The focal point of the site is an interactive drawer that slides open to reveal client testimonials and links to view the work Thanks to developer Jacob Davis's keen attention to detail, the vision was executed beautifully. The drawer interactions feel quick and delightful. You can't help but wanna open and close that thing.
Part of what makes this site feel so fresh and bold is the limited color palette of yellow, black and white. The palette, dynamic animations, focus on typography, and a playful sense of scale makes for a unique and memorable web experience. With a name like Thunk, there is room to lean into boldness. I pursued that sense of calculated audacity even more with an animation that literally slams (or *thunks*) the logo down onto the surface of the page.
In addition to the homepage, I gave the blog index and listing pages a makeover, prioritizing a clean feel that makes reading blog posts an easy, breezy experience.
I also put together a toolkit that allows website admins the ability to assemble custom marketing pages with ease. With a variety of component designs and variations, any page can easily be built and customized to support a variety of needs.
Working on this project was a blast, and I'm thrilled that Thunk has a beautiful new website to highlight their capabilities and overwhelmingly positive client reviews. If you're looking for an agency to build, manage, or maintain your product or website, check out Thunk.
