a designer, an artist, a chameleon
About Me
Me taking a mirror selfie the old fashioned way.
Background
Hey there, I’m Colleen! I’ve been a designer since 2013, working for a variety of different agencies before taking the freelance leap in 2026. My time in agency world has given me a breadth of experience in project, client, and industry type.
I bring confidence, creativity, and clarity to everything I work on. I love taking calculated risks, learning as I go, and collaborating with smart, interesting people.
Gotta take it easy even when working on the hard stuff.

What I’m looking for
I'm open to many types of freelance or contract work. I’ll design your website or app, augment your new or existing product team, or design a logo and brand identity for you.
I'm interested in working with clients who value transparent communication and fostering an ongoing relationship. Respect, honesty, and kindness are my core principles.
I make art too!
Creative expression for the sake of fun is something I prioritize in my life. I have a degree in Visual Art from UMBC, and in my free time I like to draw, paint, make mosaics, and take film photos. My artistic endeavors can sometimes find their way into my digital design work in delightful ways.
This is a mosaic of a snail that I made!
It won "Staff Pick" at the Fleisher Art Memorial Student Show.
Other interests
When I’m not working, I’m living large in South Philadelphia. You can find me getting a coffee at Two Persons or Mug, playing chess at The Passyunk Singing Fountain, taking singing/piano lessons with Randy Louise at Philly Music Lessons, dominating at pop culture trivia at Franky Bradley's, dancing at Making Time, or catching a movie at PFS.
